Liberty Professionals coach David Ocloo has lavished praises on his players despite their 1-0 away defeat to Ashantigold in the Ghana Premier League matchday 9 on Sunday.
Appiah McCarthy’s solo strike helped the Miners to record a victory against Liberty at the Len Clay stadium.
The Scientific Soccer Lads were just unlucky after dominating the second half of the encounter but failed to find the back of the net as they lose at away for the first time this season.
Speaking after the game, David Ocloo refused to blame his charges for the defeat, insisting they were not lucky.
“I’m really proud of my boys because they did well. We were a bit jittery in the first half but we responded very well in the second half. My guys were marvellous just that we were not lucky” he said.
He adds that they will go back to the drawing board and prepare well for the remainder of the GPL matches.
Liberty Professionals will host Aduana Stars at home on Sunday.
