The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs hosted a high-level delegation from Nairobi County, led by Hon. Maureen Njeri, for a dialogue on environmental sanitation and sustainable waste management.
The engagement highlighted Ghana’s policy frameworks, public-private partnerships, and integrated waste management model, including collaboration with Zoomlion Ghana Limited and the Jospong Group of Companies.
The visit reaffirmed a shared commitment between Ghana and Kenya to deepen peer learning, strengthen institutional coordination, and advance innovative, sustainable waste management solutions for improved environmental outcomes and community wellbeing across Africa.
