Security expert Richard Kumadoe has expressed concern about unlawful actions of some youth believed to be supporters of the National Democratic Congress after the declaration of the 2024 Presidential election results.
He has, also, condemned reported incidents of some public officials who are trying to loot state properties after the ruling party lost the elections.
Richard Kumadoe told Kwamina Sam Biney on Bryt fm’s Adekyee Mu Nsem that, Ghana has been experiencing such acts for a long time but it seems nothing is being done about it.
He was of the view that it is time for Ghana’s political leaders to have the courage and prosecute such persons without reading politics into it.
Mr. Kumadoe insisted the political interference in most of such cases should not be entertain so that culprits will face the consequences to be a warning to others.
Ghana has experienced pockets of lawlessness for the past two days leading to the arrest of over 30 persons who are alleged to have broke into some government agencies to steal and cause chaos
