Spanish national head coach, Luis Enrique resigned after the team was eliminated in the round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup by African giant, Morocco.
On July 9, 2018, Luis Enrique was named coach of the Spanish national team, succeeding former club and country teammate Fernando Hierro.
Luis Enrique resigned as manager of the Spanish national team in March 2019 due to personal reasons after managing six matches in which he won four and lost two.
In November 2019, he was reappointed after a four-month long break.
