All members of statutory boards corporations, commissions and councils appointed by the former President or minister of state ceased to hold office, according to a statement from the Presidency.
The statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Acting Spokesperson for President Mahama indicates the above mentioned persons ceased to hold power following the assumption of office of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025.
However, the statement added the directive excludes independent constitutionally creations, adding that the affected boards, commissions, councils and statutory corporations ill soon be reconstituted in accordance with their respective laws.
