Ghana’s President-elect John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday officially took over leadership of the West African nation after he was inaugurated into office.
Mahama, a former president, after his re-election spoke on his new government and how he will use his second term to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
Included in the policies Mahama vowed to prioritize is turning Ghana into a 24-hour-economy, thereby paving the way for more employment.
The re-elected president also vowed to keep the free Senior High School (SHS) education policies.
His inauguration has officially paved way for Mr Mahama to implement most policies he plans to undertake as promised during the campaign period.
