Ghana international Majeed Ashimeru has picked up a fresh injury at Anderlecht and is facing few weeks on the sidelines.
Ashimeru got injured in his outfit season opener against Union SG in the Belgian Pro League on July 28.
He subsequently missed their game second league game of the season at the weekend when Anderlecht defeated Royal Antwerp at the Lotto Park.
It is said Ashimeru will stay out of action for few weeks due to the injury setback.
This means, Ashimeru could miss Ghana’s final 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Central African Republic on September 7.
