A 57-year-old man has been brutalized to death by a mob after he allegedly shot his wife to death at Sefwi Sika Ne Asem in the Akontombra District of the Western North Region.
An eyewitness told Joy Daddy Multimedia’s Lord FM news that the suspect identified as Kwame Dominic 57, allegedly shot his wife Akua Mercy, 42, to death during a misunderstanding that ensued between them.
The Suspect was angry over the decision by his wife to walk out of the relationship over incessant physical and verbal abuse as well as threats on his life.
The suspect resisted an attempt by his wife to pack out of the house by chasing her to the roadside to shoot her to death.
He went into hiding at Sefwi Nsawora in the same district where he started confessing after he was intoxicated with alcohol at a drinking spot.
A mob from the Sefwi Sika Ne Asem community trailed him in the community to subject him to instant justice leading to his death.
Both bodies have been deposited at the morgue by Police.
The parents left behind three children.
