The body of an unidentified man has been found in an abandoned stone quarry pit filled with water at Fiifi Pratt a suburb of Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba in the Central Region.
The deceased was found floating on the water. Careful examination by Police revealed parts of his body were removed by his assailants.
Assembly Member for Upper Nyanyano Electoral Area, Joshua Mmraye.
“I had a distressed call around 7:15 am that there was a body at Fiifi Pratt so we reported to Police and they came for the body. Looking at it, it seems they killed him from somewhere and dumped the body in the stream. They have removed parts of his body.” He told Bryt FM.
He called on Police to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
This is the third incident recorded in the area according to the residents.
Residents in Nyanyano Kakraba, Potsin all in the Gomoa East District say they are leaving in fear hence calling on Police to arrest the perpetrators.
