Residents and Police in Teacher Mante in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region are desperately on a manhunt for a young man identified as Oko for stabbing a friend to death.
The suspect allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Emmanuel Appiah multiple times during a misunderstanding that ensued between them over jewelry.
He was stabbed on the chest and neck killing him instantly.
He took to his heels after committing the heinous crime but was pursued however managed to escape through the bush.
A complaint has been lodged to the police who are investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue pending autopsy.
