The Minister for Finance and Economic Planning under the Former President, John Mahama led administration, Seth Emmanuel Terkper has stated that managing the Economy is about leadership.
Comparing the current state of the economy, Seth Terkper affirmed that things could have been done better.
Seth Terkper admitted that the country is in hard times as a result of the Ukraine and Russia wars.
To him, cancelling electronic–levy is in the NDC next administration is yes or No matter.
Speaking to the Media, Seth Terkper stated that he doesn’t support the passage of the E-levy.
Meanwhile, Parliament on Tuesday, March 29 approved the E-levy after the Minority had walked out.
Minority indicated that the E-levy will affect the medium to use in the payment of transactions.
The Minority opposed the Bill because in their view, it was punitive.
