Many security personnel were stretched off after fainting as a result of sweltering heat during a parade in Koforidua Jackson Park to commemorate 2020 Remembrance Day.
Many of the casualties were Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service.
They were removed from the parade by medics of the Ambulance Service which their conditions were stabilized.
Ironically, none of the veteran soldiers collapse because they were not engaged in rigorous parade exercise.
Remembrance Day is observed in Ghana, and all Member States of the Commonwealth, to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty and to recall the end of hostilities of the First World War.
