MarkGrace Foundation, a Ghana-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the underprivileged, has carried out a charitable outreach to several orphanage homes in the Eastern Region.

As part of the visit, the foundation first stopped at Osuboi, where a wheelchair and learning materials were donated to support a physically challenged learner. The team also visited Suhum Akote-Basco Orphanage Home, Akwadum Christian Village, and Hour of Grace Orphanage Home, where various essential items were presented to assist with the daily upkeep of the children.

The donated items included gently used clothing, bags of rice, soft drinks, sachet water, and other necessary supplies. The gesture brought great joy and excitement to the children, while easing some of the burdens faced by the caregivers and administrators.

Speaking to Nhyiraba Solomon Nartey of Bryt FM during the donation exercise, the Founder of MarkGrace Foundation, Revenend Mark Bempong Danso, explained that the outreach forms part of the foundation’s mission to support the less privileged in society. He noted that the initiative was inspired by biblical teachings that emphasize caring for the needy and demonstrating love through practical action.

Rev. Mark Danso also called on individuals, organizations, and donors to regularly extend support to orphanage homes, stressing that caring for the needy is a shared responsibility. The team took time to pray with the children and staff of the homes, creating a moment of hope and encouragement that uplifted everyone present.

Administrators of the various orphanage homes expressed their heartfelt appreciation to MarkGrace Foundation for the generous donation. They commended the foundation for remembering the children and contributing meaningfully to their welfare, noting that the items would significantly help meet some of their pressing needs.

The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining such outreach programs in order to positively impact more lives across the country.
