The National Democratic Congress Party executives in Effutu in the Central region have suspended some party members in the Constituency including their communication director of the party.
This came to light after the suspended members descends heavily on Dr James Kofi Annan whom they described as a self-acclaimed Parliamentary Candidate for the party over on-going suspension activities.
The suspended party members claimed they’re not in any way in support of their candidature hence all efforts to suspend them from the party.
According to them, the Former Chief Executive Officer of an NGO (Challenging Heights) Dr James Kofi Annan who resigned from the ruling New Patriotic Party and joined the NDC have since been doing things that always discredit the party making the party sink in Winneba.
The Communications Director of the party, Mr Alexander King Dadzie who have also been suspended spoke to Bryt FM reporter Eric Owusu Amponsah on behalf of the aggrieved members and appealed to the Party hierarchy to intervene immediately before things get out of hand.
It is believe that the Effutu Constituency of the NDC has been in turmoil since the replacement of the elected parliamentary candidate with an NPP turncoat, James Kofi Annan.
Some of the Party executives and members have been at loggerheads as to why the constituency is being handed to the NPP on a silver platter with the poaching of an NPP member as NDC parliamentary candidate.
