Maxwell Boadu Acosty has sent an emotional goodbye message to Rijeka following his switch to Antaya FC.
The winger left the Croatian side to join the South Korean side on a three-year deal.
Acosty took to Instagram to express his gratitude to the Rijeka, saying he will never forget the beautiful moment he had with his former outfit.
“From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank the city Rijeka and its people, the fans, the club, all the coaches I have had and their staff, the companions with whom I had the pleasure of sharing the dressing room, they are really guys exceptional and I will miss them a lot. A special thanks also goes to all the workers of Rijeka who have always loved me. Rijeka has been my home for 2 and a half years and will always be … thank you very much … I will never forget”
Boadu Acosty played 17 matches and scored three goals for Rijeka in the 2019-20 season before completing a move to join the South Korean club.
Acosty leaves Rijeka after making 87 appearances, 17 goals and 13 assists in his three-year stay with the club.
He previously had a stint with some top Italian side including Fiorentina and Chievo Verona.
