Medeama forward Derrick Fordjour has emerged as a transfer target for Tanzanian giants Simba SC.
Fordjour has been outstanding for the Yellow Mauve since joining the club in 2022.
He played an instrumental role when the Tarkwa-based club clinched their first Ghana Premier League title last season.
The 21-year-old is being chased by a host of clubs across the African continent having impressive with Medeama during their CAF Champions League campaign.
Simba SC rivals Young Africans have also expressed interest in the enterprising winger and are likely to submit a bid for the player.
Additionally, clubs from Northern Africa are closely monitoring the situation and are poised to make offers in the coming weeks.
According to local media reports, Simba SC are leading the race to snap up Fordjour, with negotiations between Medeama and Msimbazi Lions advanced.
During the 2022/23 season, the forward racked up two goals and provided five assists in 27 appearances for the Yellow and Mauve.
In the current season, Fordjour has made 19 appearances in the league, netting once and contributing a couple of assists.
