The member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region, Honourable Kennedy Agyapong has described Media Business as “Flashing”.
Mr.Agyapong, who is the Chief executive officer of Kencity Network (Oman FM, Ash FM and Net2 Tv) said he did not enter the Media business for profit but just to prove to people that he is capable of establishing.
In an interview on Joy News Television, Honourable Kennedy Agyapong, who doubles as an Entrepreneur said he was once dismissed from Peace FM morning show when he had a confrontation with Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and that encouraged him to establish a Radio station.
The MP said currently, his Radio and TV stations are not making profit but he does not go to Bank to borrow money to support them but rather take money from other companies belonging to him.
Honourable Kennedy Agyapong said, last month Ash Fm in Kumasi could not pay themselves and Net2 Television also could not pay him his monthly ¢20,000 but Oman FM was able to make a profit of ¢50,000.
