Fulani man have been beaten to pulp by an angry mob at Gomoa Dabenyi, a community within the Kasoa – Winneba Highway in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region after he is said to have allegedly robbed a Mobile Money Vendor yesterday evening around 7:30pm.
According to the report, the suspected robber with his friend who is currently on the run attacked the innocent girl who is a mobile money vendor and took her bag.
Information gathered reveal one of the suspects escaped and the other one was arrested by the angry mob and beaten to pulp after he was chased and caught till police patrol team came to his rescue.
Sources also indicate that the suspect have since been admitted to the Gomoa Potsin Polyclinic for treatment and currently under Police Security.
The Police in the Gomoa Dominase and the Gomoa East District lacks logistics to combat crime as well as embarking on their daily operations yet still putting in much effort to ensure the safetyness of the people.
Confirming this to Bryt Fm News correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah in an interview, the Victim, Millicent Inkoom said the suspect and his accomplice came to purchase “Mtn Mush Up” and one pulled a gun at her demanding for her bag which contain undisclosed amount of money.
She said, while screaming for help after taken away her bag, one Ex – Police Officer who was around chased the suspect with support of some youths to apprehend him and retrieved the bag.
