Mohammed Kudus’ agent, Jen Mendelewitsch has revealed why her client move to Chelsea fell through.
Kudus was on the radar of several clubs in the summer but eventually sealed a move to fellow Premier League club, Chelsea.
According to the agent, the Black Stars midfielder was unable to seal a move to Chelsea following their inability to meet Ajax asking price.
“The truth is that Chelsea were completely focused on the transfer of Caicedo, which took all their energy. Kudus had agreed terms with Chelsea but they kept on submitting low bids,” she told RMC radio.
Kudus has had a good start to life at West Ham United, scoring three goals including a crucial equalizer against Newcastle United in the Premier League.
