The Minister for Health, Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye has announced the notable progress his outfit has made in healthcare delivery with a focus on expanding infrastructure and leveraging digital solutions.
Key among them are the construction and completion of the Dodowa, Kumawu, Fomena and Takoradi European Flat hospitals and the commissioning of phase 2 of the Bolgatanga Hospital at a cost of $20 million.
On leveraging solutions, the Minister noted that most hospitals in Ghana are now interconnected with the deployment of advance IT enabled systems which have streamlined patient care and enhanced data management.
