Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo commonly known as Sarkodie has said that most musicians in the country keep spending their capital lavishly thinking it’s their profit.
In the latest post the rapper made on social media, he affirmed the fact that music is just like any other business, and for that matter, a musician needs to invest in his or her job before enjoying the profit he or she will make.
According to Sarkodie, he is always happy when he sees artists putting their all in the music business because no one can cheat the music game all it takes is hard work, determination, and focus.
And even the little profit they make that should be re-invested as capital, they rather spend it thinking they’re spending the profit.
In his own words, Sarkodie tweeted: “I love it when artists put in their all … I always say you can’t cheat the game you gotto put in work … Music is just like any other business you flip till you see profits but unfortunately most artists spend their capital thinking it’s profit… Keep flipping”
