The NPP Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Hon. Naana Eyiah has presented several items to over 130 BECE graduates about to enter Senior High Schools as her contribution to their preparations.
According to the MP even though SHS is free, it becomes difficult for some parents to get the needed items for their wards hence her widow’s mite to supplement their effort.
She however cautioned the students against involving themselves in anti-social vices but stick to their books.
Presenting the items made up of 100 mattresses, 100 ironic trunks, writing materials, detergents, hand sanitizers, shoes, and sandals at Gomoa Ekwamkrom last Saturday, Hon. Naana Eyiah encouraged parents to invest in their children’s education.
She noted that the best legacy they could leave for their children is education adding it was also a key to poverty eradication.
The beneficiaries were drawn from all the Communities in the Gomoa Central District including Gomoa Abonyi, Mangoase, Lome, Nsuem, Afransi, Aboso, Ekroful, Benso, Akropong, Brofoyedur, and Pomadze.
Present were DCE for Gomoa Central, Hon. Benjamin Kojo Otoo, Gomoa Central NPP Chairman, Alhaji Omar Adam, and his constituency executives.
