The member of Parliament and Deputy Lands and Natural Resources Minister, George Mireku Duker visited the Bonsa community, one of the recently affected communities due to heavy downpours in Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality.
He sympathized with the victims and supported them with relief items, which included rice, oil, mattress, bags of cement, buckets, and some assorted items.
The MP have also directed NADMO through the MCE to provide a comprehensive report on this unfortunate disaster and, as we advance, how to prevent or mitigate the impact of future occurrences.
He was accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Benjamin Kessie on the inspection.
