Legendary Highlife artiste, Kwabena Nyamekye Amoo-Mensah known in the entertainment circle as Pat Thomas has disclosed that Rapper Sarkodie helped him secure all his songs from people who were making huge profits from his songs without his knowledge.
Speaking on a Kumasi based radio station, Pat Thomas clarified that if it had not been the aid he received from the rapper Sarkodie, he would not have had an idea of what actually happens on social media about his songs.
“I met Sarkodie when he returned from the U.S and he was asking ‘Uncle, a lot of your songs are on Spotify but do you get the money?’ I said no, and he said then someone must be cashing out your money in dollars,” he said.
“Even those of us who just started are getting huge sums of money and not you who started many years ago,” Sarkodie touted.
Adding that Sarkodie has helped him immensely as he is now cashing out on his songs on the internet.
