Former Northern Region NDC deputy communications Officer Hardi Pagazaa has been arrested and is currently in police cells.
This is in connection with an alleged assault on Tamale-based Dagbon FM Journalist, Sadiq Gariba on May 3 during a live radio programme.
According to his Lawyer, Mr Abdul Rauf, Mr Pagazaa has been out of town for the past few days and upon his return, they had to report at the police station this morning.
He added that attempts are in place to secure bail for him while confirming that his client is still in the police cells for now.
