Akwamufie – The Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), Brigadier General Maxwell Obuba Mantey, together with his two deputies paid a courtesy call on Akwamu Paramount Chief, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III at Akwamufie in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.
The visit was to officially introduce himself to the traditional leadership and have discussions in relation to the proposed NACOC Training School project under his jurisdiction.
The call was also to assure the Omanhene of the Commission’s readiness to ensure that the project is given the needed attention.
He appealed to Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III to support the Commission in the fight against the drug abuse menace by adding his voice to the fight and thanked him for availing his land for the proposed project.
