Ghana President, Nana Akufo-Addo will commission the long-awaited Koforidua Multi-Purpose Youth Resource Centre on December 19, 2023.
The construction of the ambitious project started in 2018 when the President of the Republic decided to construct ten Multi-purpose Youth Resource Centers across Ghana.
The project was expected to be completed within nine months following the sod-cutting by the then Sports Minister, Isaac Kwame Asiamah.
But the ambitious projects faced a temporary setback which delayed its completion.
However, unwavering determination and commitment paved the way for a strategic review, allowing the government to ensure the completion of six out of the ten centres by 2023, which included the Koforidua Multi-purpose centre.
Information gathered indicates that, the President of the West African country will commission the Koforidua Multi-Purpose Youth Resource Centre next month, December 19, 2023.
