Former Deputy General Secretary of the NPP Nana Obiri Boahen has taken a swipe at Tamale South MP, Haruna Iddrisu over attempt to make the speaker of Parliament declare the Gomoa West seat vacant.
According to the astute lawyer, the decision by the former minority leader does not respond to what the constitution says in such matters.
His comments at the back of the incumbent MP’s decision to contest the December Parliamentary elections as an independent candidate.
Madam Cynthia Mamle Morrison took the decision to contest as independent candidate after losing in the party’s internal primary.
Meanwhile, speaking to Kwamina Sam Biney on BRYT fm Adekyee Mu Nsem, Nana Obiri Boahen indicated the Tamale South MP should rather think of an alleged salary he took some years ago when the NDC was in power.
He, however, revealed the actions of the Tamale South MP won’t go anywhere as it is of no substance.
