Nana Owiredu Wadie, the Nkosuohene of Kwahu Nkwatia, as part of his annual generos gesture to the vulnerable in society during festive season has once again spread cheers to over 300 beneficiaries in Kwahu Nkwatia and its environs.
The event held at Freedom Hotel, attended by over 300 widows, aged individuals, and persons with disabilities from various areas, aimed to spread joy during the holiday season.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of Opanyin Kwame Wadie, the father of Nana Owiredu Wadie, who expressed the enduring commitment of the Wadie Family to supporting their fellow community members in Kwahu Nkwatia.
Representing Nana Owiredu Wadie, Henry Larbi, Executive Director of Kabaka Foundation, emphasized the foundation’s dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those facing difficulties, particularly during the festive season. He emphasized that the gesture was a testament to the spirit of joy, love, and generosity that embodies the holiday season.
The distributed items included 5kg bags of rice, cooking oil, tin tomatoes, mackerel, and other essentials, symbolizing the essence of the festive season for the recipients.
In an interview, Henry Larbi, Executive Director of Kabaka Foundation, expressed the foundation’s commitment to social interventions and community support. He noted that the annual tradition aimed to ensure that everyone in the community could partake in the festive spirit.
Hon Daniel Agyapong, the Assemblyman of the Dompem Electoral Area in Kwahu Nkwatia, expressed gratitude for the continued support of Nana Owiredu Wadie and Kabaka Foundation. Beneficiaries also shared their appreciation, thanking Nana Owiredu Wadie for his timely assistance and expressing gratitude for the unexpected blessings.
