The Nane Heritage Foundation, a non-governmental organization committed to improving healthcare delivery and enhancing the well-being of underserved communities across Ghana, has conducted an inspection visit to its ongoing clinic project at Anidzi in the Kwahu Afram Plains North District of the Eastern Region.

The visit formed part of the Foundation’s routine monitoring activities aimed at ensuring quality work and timely completion of the health facility. The Anidzi clinic project, which commenced with funding support from the Foundation’s international partners — Stichting Their Voice and the Wilde Ganzen Foundation, both based in the Netherlands — is expected to be completed in March 2026.
When completed, the facility will significantly improve access to quality healthcare services for residents of Anidzi and surrounding communities, who currently travel long distances to seek medical attention. The clinic is expected to provide primary healthcare services, maternal and child health support, and basic emergency care, thereby reducing preventable illnesses and deaths in the area.

During the visit, the team from Nane Heritage Foundation interacted with community members to assess progress and gather feedback. Residents expressed appreciation for the initiative and optimism about the positive impact the facility will have on their lives.
Speaking during the engagement, the Founder of Nane Heritage Foundation, Mr. Kaizer Tetteh, emphasized that the project is focused on strengthening healthcare service delivery in the Anidzi community. He noted that improving access to essential health services remains a top priority for the Foundation.

Mr. Tetteh expressed heartfelt gratitude to Stichting Their Voice and the Wilde Ganzen Foundation for their financial support, describing their partnership as instrumental in advancing the Foundation’s mission to improve healthcare outcomes in deprived communities.
In an interview with Nhyiraba Solomon Nartey of Bryt FM after the tour, the Municipal Health Director for the Kwahu Afram Plains North District, Mr. David Mensah, commended Nane Heritage Foundation and its partners for their significant investment in healthcare infrastructure in the district. He noted that such collaborations play a critical role in bridging gaps in health service delivery.

He further called on other institutions, NGOs, corporate bodies, and individuals to support the government’s efforts to expand universal health coverage across the country. According to him, achieving universal health coverage is a shared responsibility that requires collective action from all stakeholders.
The Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Stephen Addision, also expressed profound appreciation to the Foundation and its partners for their support. He assured the team of the community’s commitment to safeguarding the facility and ensuring its sustainability upon completion.

The Nane Heritage Foundation continues to demonstrate its dedication to transforming lives through sustainable development initiatives, particularly in the health sector, where access to quality care remains a pressing challenge in many rural communities.
