The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice presidential candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has called on Ghanaians to reject the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) due to its discriminating ethnic and religious policies.
The NPP, on the other hand, has shown itself to be a party that welcomes all Ghanaians regardless of their ethnicity or religion, according to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
He supported this assertion by pointing to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s election as Ghana’s first Muslim and Mamprusi leader of a significant political party.
He also pointed to the NPP’s selection of a Christian and a Muslim as its vice presidential candidate and flagbearers as evidence of the party’s regard for religious societies and all tribes.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh recalled that the opposition party had removed Haruna Iddrisu and Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka as Minority Leader and Minority Chief Whip in Parliament, respectively, exposing the tribal nature of the NDC.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, was confident that Dr. Bawumia would win the election on December 7 and that NAPO will work with him diligently to advance Ghanaians’ prosperity and progress.
When he visited Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari Gariba II, the Overlord of Dagon, at his Gbewaa Palace as a courtesy, he spoke these things.
