The National COVID-19 Trust Fund has released GH¢10 million to help in the construction of the National Infectious Diseases Center.
Also, an amount of GH¢8 million has been released to the government to purchase PPEs for final year students returning to school.
Also, Managers of the Fund says GHS2.5 million has been given to the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) to embark on awareness creation, education and sensitization programs on COVID-19.
Communications Officer for the Fund, Kwame Owusu Bempah, in an interview with the media said they are also giving GHS10 million to the private sector medical facility at Ga East.
The Fund had accrued over GH¢50 million donated by individuals and institutions.
