Inter-Ministerial Cordinating Committee on Decentralisation on 27th April 2023 had a stakeholder engagement for the validation of the Performance Assessment Framework (PAF) for the National Decentralisation Policy and Strategy (NDPS) 2020-2024.
This brought together Experts and Focal Persons within the sector’s Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
It afforded participants the opportunity to review and provide feedback on the current framework which helps to track the progress and effectiveness of decentralisation efforts in the country.
“We are grateful for the insightful contributions and constructive suggestions from the participants, which will help to refine the framework and ensure its relevance, reliability, and usefulness in monitoring and evaluating the progress of the policy” a comminique stated.
