The Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation held a Mentorship Session today for all one thousand beneficiaries for the Girls-In-ICT training in the Greater Accra Region.
The event, held at the University of Ghana’s Cedi Conference Centre, brought together leading female professionals in the digital (ICT) field to share their life experiences with the girls and also encourage them to be meticulous and aspire for careers in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) space.
The programme was chaired by the Dean, School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ghana, Legon, Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufman.
Mentors were drawn from organisations the following organizations; Dimensions Data, Ghana Domain Name Registry, Telecel, MTN , Environmental Protection Agency, Ghana’s STEM Ambassador, Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT and Cyber Security Authority.
