Nations FC new coach Stephen Frimpong Manso has sets sights on building a team capable to securing titles in the domestic scene.
Manso recently joined the Abrankese-based after being shown the exit door at Bibiani Goldstars following their CAF Champions League qualification exit to JS Kabylie.
The veteran coach penned a two-year deal with Nations FC, replacing Kasim Ocansey Mingle, who was recently dismissed after a sluggish start to the Premier League season.
“I want to build a team that is strong enough to win titles and also play a good football. I believe in a team that fight. Football has evolved and knowing how to play alone is not enough, but playing without the ball is the most important thing”
“We will look at it critically and get the best out of the players. We will deal with the two key aspect of the game – with and without the ball. We will emphasize for the players to get that concept” he told the club’s media.
The experienced tactician will begin his reign as head coach of Nations with a crucial away Ghana Premier League clash against Bechem United, who has been inconsistent so far this season.
