The Member of Parliament elect for Madina constituency and Ghanaian Lawyer Francis Xavier Sosu has said that the formal president John Dramani Mahama and his party National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not support anybody to destroy property to gain political power.
According to him, there were rumours on social media circulating that the NDC is behind the burning of some markets in the country.
During his Thanksgiving Ceremony at the Adonai chapel in Madina, Mr Sosu affirmed that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is accusing the NDC of being behind the fires but the NPP is trying to paint the NDC in a bad light.
Mr Sosu confidently stated that the NDC was not behind the fires and also do not support such acts.
Mr Sosu revealed that NDC will not motivate people to destroy people’s property to gain political influence.
