The Member of Parliament for Hohoe, John Peter Amewu, has complimented Alan Kyerematen’s immaculate reputation, saying, Alan Kyerematen has a clean record and for that matter the opposition party (NDC) cannot destroy him.
On the second day of Mr. Kyerematen’s “delegates cluster meetings,” Hon. Amewu, who is also the minister for railway development, asked delegates to unite behind Alan in order to protect the party from unwelcome personal assaults on their presidential candidate by the NDC.
The occasion provided NPP representatives from Adenta, Madina, and Shai Osu Doku with an opportunity to actively interact with Mr. Kyerematen, one of the front-runners in the race for NPP flagbearer, on his goals for the party and the country as a whole.
In order to fight the upcoming NDC propaganda that might have an impact on the party’s prospects in the 2024 elections, Mr. Amewu urged NPP delegates to support the candidacy of the former Minister of Trade and Industry.
Speaking to the delegates, he asserted that the NDC’s inability to uncover any damaging information against Mr. Kyerematen is sufficient justification for party members to support him.
In order to break the eight in 2024, he urged the party apparatus to look beyond the internal primaries and concentrate on the wider picture.
