Deputy Youth Organizer for the NDC in New Juaben North, Isaac Ayiku, has declared that the NPP has failed Ghanaians, describing the party as disorganized and misleading under its current leadership.
Mr. Ayiku stated that the NPP, led by Justin Frimpong Kodua as General Secretary, has become disorganized, and this situation does not sit well with the NDC. According to him, the NDC wants a strong opposition party to keep the government on its toes, but the NPP’s conduct is not helping Ghana achieve the kind of democracy the country deserves.
“NPP as a party has failed Ghanaians and it’s disorganized led by Justin Kodua”
“We’re not happy this is happening but as a party, we want a biggest opposition party to put the government on it toes and what they are doing won’t help us achieve the democracy we want”
Ayiku further highlights improvements in food inflation, pointing to the progress made since President Mahama took office. He believes that the current state of food inflation deserves praise.
He also noted that the NDC has fulfilled several major promises made to Ghanaians. The betting tax, e-levy, and COVID-19 levy have all been abolished, just as the party pledged during the 2024 electoral campaign.
He questioned what Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would offer Ghanaians if he becomes president, especially given President John Dramani Mahama’s strong governance and the lack of any indication that the NDC will lose the 2028 elections, leaving Dr. Bawumia out of power.
“So, we are asking what Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is coming to do looking at how His Excellency John Dramani is ruling the country and what shows NDC will flop for NPP to come into power?”
Ending his submission, he maintained that President John Dramani Mahama continues to deliver for Ghanaians, reinforcing his confidence in the current administration.
