Due to the demise of his mother, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has suspended campaign activities towards the party’s national executives elections.
The incumbent National Chairman is keenly contesting the position with the General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.
However, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo on Tuesday announced suspension of his campaign activities to mourn her late mother, Madam Mary Gyawubea Badu who died at the Eastern Regional Hospital.
He again thanked all those who have reached out to the family with encouragement and those who have spared thoughts and prayers in these very difficult times.
