The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said the Party is in the process to grab another three Parliamentary seats to become the majority in Parliament.
He said the Party after winning Sene West Seat observed that there were manipulations in Savlugu, Sefwi Wiawso, and Zabzugu Constituency.
Speaking with Accra based Joy FM, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia said a place like Techiman South, Election was declared without collation and added that the Party is auditing their election pink sheet and will soon take action over the above Constituencies Results.
He said the Party will soon come out with its action on both Presidential some Parliamentary election results which he believed were declared for the NPP illegally.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) each won 137 seats, which represent a loss of dozens of NPP seats.
Fomena constituency was won by an independent candidate, Andrew Asiamah who has declared his intention to join the NPP in Parliament.
But according to the 1992 Constitution, Article Ghana Constitution: 97; (1) a Member of Parliament shall vacate his seat in Parliament –
(g) If he leaves the party of which he was a member at the time of his election to Parliament to join another party or seeks to remain in Parliament as an independent member; or
(h) If he was elected a Member of Parliament as an independent candidate and joins a political party.
