The Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been accused for neglecting the Asomdwee Park even before leaving office in 2016.
The then administration has also been described at insensitive in ensuring late President John Atta Mills has a good rest after serving the nation.
Late President John Atta Mills was buried at the Asomdwee park and that place since its recent renovation has been left to rot, a situation that informed Mr. Koku Anyidoho of Atta Mills’ Institute to petitioned President Akufo-Addo for support in making the place the one that befit the late president.
Mr. Christian Donkor, an Economist, Chartered Accountant And a Financial Analyst speaking on Homebase TV political program dubbed “Delivering on our Promises” with the Flagbearer, he querried why the NDC is complaining after failing to renovate the Asomdwee Park before leaving office.
He revealed the Asomdwee Park until the NDC left power in 2016, was habouring criminals and drug peddlers but failed to help renovate the place.
Mr. Donkor jabbed the brother of the late President, Cadman Mills and other family members who failed to ensure beautification of the park but are in connivance with the NDC to speak against the good initiative of the Government.
“Instead of his brother ensuring the park is well kept, he is rather making unnecessary comments of what Government has been able to do to honour his own late brother” he stressed.
The Economist, Chartered Accountant And a Financial Analyst also jabbed the brother of the late President for accusing Koku Anyidoho of using the Atta Mills’ Institute to solicit funds but rather querried him the rational behind the Atta Mills’ Fund that he (Cadman Mills) established.
He again accused the current leaders of the NDC of trying to erase the hard earned legacies of late President Atta Mills and replace it with Jon Mahama, who was then the Vice President.
