The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has increased its Parliamentary seats in the Eastern Region from six to eight at the end of the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary election.
The party won Akwatia, Ayensuanor, and Upper Menya Krobo seats in addition to Yilo Krobo, Lower Manya, Asuogyama, Afram Plains North and south out of the 33 Constituencies in the Region.
Three of these MPs are going for their second and third term in Parliament respectively while the others are new.
