The National Democratic Congress, NDC has been chastised by the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP for recently speaking ‘ill’ of the Ghanaian economy.
The party has also been accused of further calling for the dissolution of the economic management team under the leadership of the Vice President, Dr Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia over abysmal performance.
Reacting to this, Western North Regional Organiser of the NPP, Samuel Adu Adjei has indicated that, the NDC has always been fault-finders who spew lies that Ghana’s economy is totally broke and hopeless.
Speaking to the media, he said it has not gotten to a point where Vice president Dr Bawumia must quit as the economic management head because, during NDC’s regime under former President Mahama-Amissah Arthur, the economic management team failed yet they did not resign.
Mr Adu Adjei continued to identify some mismanagement under the leadership of the NDC which drove them into opposition, including; continuous power crises(dumsor) for over four years, cancellation of teachers and nurses trainees allowances, paying teachers three months salary instead of three years which became a legacy debt but insisted 90% of the people have been fully paid the by Akufo Addo led NPP government.
He, therefore, called on Ghanaians to remain focused on the government as it has two more years to fulfil all promises and policies been implemented.
