Mr Rasheed Abdul, the National Democratic Congress deputy constituency organiser for Atwima Nwabiagya South, urged delegates to reject members of Parliament who supported the six Auffo-Addo ministers.
In an interview with the press, he emphasised unequivocally that the over thirty MPs who reportedly received money and voted against their own NDC party must be punished for such heinous behaviour.
The astute politician remarked that the party’s NEC must conduct a thorough investigation to bring those greedy MPs to justice.
“That is why we require selfless leaders for each constituency.” Let us all cheer for diligent young like our valiant youth to win in Atwima Nwabiagya South”.
“I will urge delegates to vote against all MPs who voted Yes to approve the six ministers”, he stated.
Furthermore, he emphasised that the NDC believes in democracy, and that there is a need to promote the ideas that each contender brings to the table in order to benefit the young and the party’s membership.
“We must help the Ahotor Project.” I believe it will benefit and open doors for the kids. However, because the party believes in social democracy, I believe the executives should not dismiss Mr Duffour’s initiative, but rather embrace it in order to provide work chances to the party’s jobless youth.”
