The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will officially launch its 2024 election campaign in Tamale, Northern Region, on July 27, 2024.
The party is determined to win the presidential election on December 7.
On Saturday, July 20, 2024, the NDC organized a health walk in Accra called the “Get Fit and Ready Mahama Walk” prior to the official launch of their campaign.
John Dramani Mahama addressed the crowd and encouraged them to remain cautious on election day.
In order to garner more votes during the campaign, he also emphasized the need of teamwork.
‘’The campaign is for all of us. it is not for Joshua Alabi, he is the campaign manager. It is not for your constituency campaign taskforces; it is not for your regional campaign taskforces. It is for every one of you. Any spare time you have, wear your T-shirts, we are going to send you leaflets and you go from house to house and distribute the leaflets to your neighbours and tell them the message of the NDC’’ he said.
“On that day, you are not just going to vote and go home. You will wait and protect the ballot box. I don’t want to call agents or executives and your lines are switched off,” he stated.
