The 2020 parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress NDC in the Suhum constituency Amanda Okyere Kwatia has revealed that the party stands a greater chance of winning the parliamentary seat In Suhum come 2024.
She said that the party’s performances in the constituency in recent times are signal that with hard work, the NDC can win the seat in 2024
“Even though I have not declared my intensions to contest again or not but the party should rally behind anyone who will contest in the ticket of the NDC and I believe when we come together and throw our support to anyone who will be elected in the primaries, the party will surely win the Suhum seat for the NDC in 2024’’.
Amanda Okyere Kwatia said this on Sunday when addressing supporters of the party at an event organized by the Youth Wing of the party in Suhum Constituency in the Eastern region.
She admonished that youth rise up to the mantle ahead and be empowered with the “Do or Die” mantra to campaign vigorously for the NDC and be vigilant.
She, therefore, pleaded to all party executives and party members to unite and learn from the previous mistakes that were committed from the 2020 elections and join forces together and Support the agenda of H.E John Dramani Mahama for victory in 2024.
Present at the event was the National Chairman of the NDC party Mr. Ofosu Ampofo and some regional executives including Mark Oliver Kevor, Richard Lartey, Okai Minta, Bismark Tawiah Boateng, William Atamudzi, Baba Jamal Konney, and other Constituency executives.
