Dela Edem, a communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has apologized to former President John Agyekum Kufuor for insulting him.
Edem explained that, it is an unfortunate event because his comments were misinterpreted, as he was actually referring to a video of a preacher on social media.
He made this assertion during an interview with Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney.
Edem stated that his family and friends drew his attention to his earlier statement and he acknowledged his words were unacceptable.
He, therefore, apologized to the former president, his family, and those around him, saying, “It’s politics, but if what I said wasn’t right, please forgive me”..
He has said that , “If Nana Akuffo Addo can say something and apologize to Ghana, how much him. There is no need to justify the whole thing so I’m just apologizing to him and everyone around him that they should forgive me and forget about it”.
