Hon Samuel Adongo, the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive of New Juaben North has urged Assembly members and government appointees to get involved in the Reset agenda of President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC government.
According to him, the development of the municipality lies in unity and, therefore, called for a collaborative effort in ensuring the people get their fair share of the national cake.
Hon Samuel Adongo disclosed this at his confirmation ceremony on Thursday, May 15 at the Assembly Hall of the Municipal premises.
Prior to his confirmation, the Member of Parliament for the area, Nana Osei Agyei pledged support to the newly confirmed MCE, indicating the need to have a good co-existence in order to achieve the development agenda of the area.
He assured the MCE of his support during his tenure in office in order to ensure he succeed by dealing with most of the challenges facing the people in the Municipality.
However, the Eastern Regional minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey on her part called on Assembly members to share in the vision of the MCE who is representing the President in the Municipality.
She indicated that the nomination of Hon Samuel Adongo was thoroughly gone through considering his commitment, hardwork and competence and assured him of her outfits readiness to support anytime there is the need.
Hon Samuel Adongo gained 100% confirmation as all the 29 Assembly members and government appointees who took part in the elections voted in favour of his bid.
