Koforidua Technical Institute (KOTECH) has taken delivery of 250 wooden and metal students desks to augment what the school already has.
The quick intervention follows a request by school authorities about shortage of desks for BECE candidates, who are currently writing their final examination.
The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive, Samuel Adongo, at a short presentation assured schools in the municipality of his outfit’s readiness to support in improving the quality of education in the area.
He charged school authorities and students present to also take good care of the desks, in other to ensure they do not get destroyed as the norm had always been.
Meanwhile, authorities of KOTECH were grateful to the MCE for his quick response to their plea and pledged to take good care of the desks.
