New Juaben North MCE, Hon. Samuel Adongo, on Sunday 12th October, 2025 joined the Methodist Church Ghana, Koforidua Diocese and the Nsukwao Circuit Trinity Society-Akwadum to celebrate the Women’s Fellowship 67th Anniversary.
At a colourful occasion in Akwadum, the Municipal Chief Executive of New Juaben North Municipal, Hon. Samuel Adongo first congratulated the women fellowship for their stewardship in the Christian ministry and their role as mothers.
He has also admonished mothers and women to leverage on the advantages of social media to spread the gospel and to expand the Kingdom of God
Hon. Adongo further expressed his appreciation to the Methodist Church for the warm reception he received during his stay.
The MCE reiterated the President John Mahama’s committment to reset the country and called for the support of the church in achieving this goal.
He acknowledged the role of the church as stakeholders in the Local Governance structure to bring development at the various MMDAs.
He called for their collaboration to make new Juaben North Municipal the cleanest city in Ghana and therefore called for their support in the national sanitation exercise at the first Saturday of every month.
Hon. Samuel Adongo further made a donation of an undisclosed amount to support the women’s fellowship 67th Anniversary and assured the church of his continuous support in the coming years.
